In loving memory of Lillian Mary Sutton who sadly passed away on 23rd April 2016
This site is dedicated to the memory of Lillian Mary Sutton.
Mum passed away in her sleep, in the early hours of Saturday 23rd April 2016, after a brief illness and 13½ years after she lost her independence following being knocked over by a cyclist and through debilitating dementia.
Hilary had been at mum’s bedside until 30 minutes before mum passed, only leaving as mum was sleeping peacefully.
There is sadness, but also relief that mum is at peace now and free from the dementia she so feared. We can now start the process of reclaiming the memories from before the illness took hold.
We would love to hear about any memories you have of Lillian.

Details about the funeral
The service will be at 1:15 pm on Friday 6 May 2016 at Ashby Evangelical Church, Avenue Road then at 1:45pm mum will be laid to rest (with dad’s ashes in her coffin) with our sister Lindsey’s remains in Ashby Cemetery. After this, around 2:30pm, there will be food & drinks at The Vines Wine Bar, 12 Bath Street
