Been racking my brains trying to remember why we used to call each other 'Fish Face', but I've no idea! Hee hee ;) You may have been taken too soon, but you clearly touched more people in your time here, than many people do in a lifetime twice as long. For that you are very special indeed. We went through some tough times together and we had a lot of laughs along the way. Conscientious and very hard-working, Linda played hard too and was a lovely friend. Let's hang onto all those happy memories. That would be Linda's wish for those she leaves behind.

Lindy Lou, The story is still told in our family of how you took an 18 year old employee to the dentist as she was too scared to go alone (my mum has even mentioned it below) and ever since that day you have been my Mumma No 2. You hired me when I was 17 for my first proper job and with the help of Glynnis (mumma no 3) you helped turn me from a stroppy teenager into the (hopefully) lovely adult I am today!! I am now a mummy myself and it breaks my heart that you never got to meet my son. He would have adored you as I can see here so many people do. I can only apologise that I hadn't been around much over the last few years but I hope you know how much you meant to me. I still cant believe this is goodbye. I love you Lindy xxx

When my daughter Lolly ventured into the grown-up world of full time employment after leaving school Linda took her under her wing and became her "other mummy" taking her to various doctor and dentist appointments always being there for her holding her hand and generally being a good loyal friend .. Many years have passed since then but I will always be grateful for Linda's kindness xxx
