We met some 35 years ago as two young Mums only to find out eventually that our parents knew each other from way back when. That friendship has lasted all these years not always seeing or hearing from each other but it was always there. We wanted to be with you today and are so sorry we cannot be but you will be in our hearts forever. xxxxxxxxx

I was introduced to Sue by my friend Kim (Sues sister). Kim suggested contacting Sue as she had the same condition as me - Fibromyalgia, and may be a good support.
I made contact by Facebook message and Sue responded immediately. We continued to "chat" over the past year and a half and through Facebook we shared pictures,
quotes and words. I found Sue to be warm, caring and understanding and she was always there. My regret is that I never met her in person and by the time she had got her diagnosis, time slipped away too soon. I cannot attend her funeral today but I am thinking about her and all the family and reading all these amazing messages is very moving. RIP lovely Sue and thank you for our brief encounter - it will never be forgotten. Bev xx

Avril and I met Sue over 40 years ago where John and I attended Grimsby College and studied together. We got along fabulously and all the time we were together we never stopped laughing. She loved life so much.
Later I had the lifelong pride in being the best man at their wedding and we both cherish the memories of the times the four of us spent together. We wrote, rang each other afterwards-those were the days before mobile phones, e-mails and facebook. Each and every time we were all together there was joy and happiness and that is how we will both remember her.
We lost touch, sadly, over the years- some 25 years ago- and mercifully re-connected just before Christmas and also discovered we only lived 10 miles away! We were so excited at catching up for those lost years and when John and Sue came back from visiting Rachel we arranged to meet as soon as was possible and we did on the Saturday before she passed. That was the most bittersweet moment in the world. Love you and miss you Sue.
Lively Sue
Lovely Sue
Happy Sue
Joy to be with Sue.

We used to cry with laughter Sue, now we're just crying.

John, we are here to support you in anyway we can.
Love to Rachel, Stuart and families.

All our love- Avril and Robert.

Sue was a great friend/ neighbour and Auntie Sue to our Children, we have known Sue for the last ten years since we have been living here.

We have so many happy and fond memories of Sue, she would always light up a room and make a party a lot of fun ( dancing on the table at my hen do springs to mind as well as playing and having fun with our children at their birthday parties.)

We are all going to Miss Sue so very much, but we will never forget her and remembering her will always make us smile.

We are sending our love to all of Sue's family.

Lots of love

Sarah, Harry, Emily and Henry xxxx
