In loving memory of Glen Robert "Glenbob' Wall who sadly passed away on 2nd April 2016. Glen was a funny, kind and generous young man and we miss him more than words can possibly say.
Glen was born in Kempton Park in South Africa on 29th August 1991, the youngest of 3 sons. We emigrated to the UK in 1994 so Glen was schooled and raised in Manchester although he was always very curious about his South African roots and had a chance to meet South African family and friends when he visited there in his final year at school.
When he finished school he gained an apprenticeship as a qualified pattern maker. He undertook a CNC machining course at night school as he had decided to go and work in Germany and this became a big focus in his life. He also started learning to speak German.
Glen was a sociable and popular guy who had a large and supportive friendship group and they are devastated by his passing as we are. He was mad about cats and loved music, gigs and festivals and reading a wide variety of books (and Wikipedia!)
He left us when he was still so young and with so much potential but we are so proud to be able to call him our beloved son, brother and friend.
