Rob Cooper (12 Aug 1971 - 16 Mar 2016)

Not how he die, but how did he live?
Not what did he gain, but what did he give?
These are the units to measure the worth
Of a man as a man, regardless of birth.
Not what was his church, nor what was his creed?
But had he befriended those really in need?
Was he ever ready, with word of good cheer.
To bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
Nor what did the sketch in the newspaper say,
But how many were sorry when he passed away

Rob was a lovely bloke, he did lots of jobs for us and are a reminder of him. He always had a good word and I always chatted to him when I saw him round the village. He will be missed.

Taken far to soon. I will remember our childhood and the summers we spent down the canal and round the village.. Love to your family, you will be missed by so many. Sleep tight Rob. Xx ?
