Joseph Spooner (11 Mar 1943 - 27 Mar 2016)

On March 27th 2016 peacefully after a short illness at HRI Joe aged 73 years of Honley. The dearly loved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Joanne and Jayne and their husbands Matthew and Robert, a devoted grandad to Reece, Rosie, Kane and Freddie, and a very dear brother of David, Mary and Anne.

Funeral Service at Trinity Church, Moorbottom, Honley on Thursday April 14th at 1.15pm followed by cremation at Huddersfield Crematorium at 2.45pm. Family flowers only please. Donations if wished are to be shared between the ICU at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary and Bloodwise c/o Radcliffe Funeral Service 16 Westgate Honley Holmfirth HD9 6AA.

We will always remember him as an honest, hard-working, husband, dad and grandad, who loved his family and he was always there for us.

He enjoyed nothing more than spending days out with Margaret and also with the rest of family. He always used to say "We've had a right good day".

He also loved going out for a ride on his motorbike and talked about the many good times.

We will miss him so very, very much.
