Peacefully, in hospital, on March 23, 2016, aged 90 years, late of Harold Street, Bingley. Loved brother of the late Jack, Bill and Sidney, a dear uncle to Brian, Patricia, Irene, Ruth, Neil and Helen and a dear friend of Sheila. Service and cremation will be held at Nab Wood, Shipley on Wednesday, April 6 at 2:40 pm. Now then then......just one of Uncle Joes quirky sayings! I remember having my legs walked off and our destination was always just around the corner. Uncle Joe was one of the kindest men, a true gent. Rest in peace. xxxxx

Rest in peace Joe. I will always remember the wonderful times we spent together enjoying the simple things in life; the countryside, holidays, music etc. You were such a kind generous and thoughtful person and a very dear friend to me. You will be sadly missed.

Many happy memories with uncle joe walking our legs off when we were kids when he came to visit and he showed us all the site in Yorkshire no stoping him sadly missed but not forgotten
