In loving memory of Frank Larmond who sadly passed away on 22nd March 2016.
Frank leaves behind a wife, Olive. Together they had 4 sons and a daughter who between them have produced 20 children who in return have given Frank and Olive 9 great grand children. What a legacy!!!
Frank was born in Jamaica in Clarendon district, and was a twin to his brother Michael now sadly passed. His other brother Vincent helped Frank to realize his dream of coming to England to make a better life for his family. Because by this time Frank and Olive had married and already had three children. Frank was always a deeply devoted man, his faith was very important to him and eventually he was ordained as deacon at Water Works church in Frankfield.
Frank arrived in the UK in 1961 and once established Olive soon followed. Together they worked hard to build a new life both working within the NHS all their working lives as well raising a family.
At the same time being very devoted to their faith they established their own fellowship within the Pentecostal church, both being ministers and extremely loved and respected within their church. Later Frank was ordained as a Pastor.
Frank was a warm. kind, happy, friendly man. He was a man who would go out of his way for a neighbour and was always there for his congregation.
In 2005 Frank and Olive returned to their beloved Jamaica for a well earned retirement. This was an especially happy time for them because after many years of hard work they were finally able to realize a dream retirement. However this dream was short lived due to ill health and they were forced to return back to England. After a few years of deteriorating health Frank finally passed on March 22nd.
He was various things to different people but to me he was just my dad.
