Leslie Charles Hawksworth Lay (17 Apr 1953 - 16 Mar 2016)

In loving memory of Leslie Charles Hawksworth Lay who sadly passed away on 16th March 2016, dad's funeral is being held at Alford crematorium at 3 o clock on the 7th April, also his wake is at the white hart pub in Alford.
Dad was a drummer in the royal Anglicans regiment 1st battalion (Vikings), he joined up when he was 17 years old and served for 23 years, travelling the world serving his country.
After he retired he worked as a duty manager for a security company in London,
He was a dad, stepdad, grandad, brother and uncle, his death was very sudden and unexpected he will be greatly missed by many, anybody who wants to pay their last respects are welcome to attend.
