In loving memory of Peter David Simpson who sadly passed away on 21st March 2016 aged 61 years
Dearly loved and devoted husband and best friend of Sue
Loving Dad to Sarah, Julie, Steven and Kerrie and their partners Tom, Paul, Rachel and Matt
Proud grandfather of Jenk, Aliyah, Yasmin, Georgia, Emre, Zac, Reid, Ty and Thor.
A commercial vehicle engineer with immense knowledge of all aspects of commercial vehicles , Pete set up his own business with Sue 25 years ago, with hard work, dedication and determination it grew into a family run haulage company with excellent reputation, specialising in tankers carrying bulk liquids ( P & S Simpson Limited ) based at Saxilby Lincoln.
Shortly after becoming unwell in October last year, Pete was diagnosed with aggressive oesophageal cancer that had already spread to secondary brain tumours in November.
Sadly the cancer spread very quickly and although Pete fought to the very end, he passed away at his home in Saxilby with his wife Sue and daughters Julie and Kerrie by his side , in the early hours of Monday 21st March
