Terence Porter (19 Sep 1953 - 12 Mar 2016)

In loving memory of Terence Porter who sadly passed away on 12th March 2016.

Terry was born on the 19th September 1953 to parents Rose & Jack and grew up with his brother Keith and sister Pat in Newbold, Chesterfield. In his youth he was a sporty lad being skilled at the javelin, swimming, cricket & football and was a lifelong fan of Chesterfield United.

Terry worked at the Trebor Sweet factory before fulfilling many other jobs including being an ice cream man, a steelworker, a construction engineer being involved in the demolition of the Parkgate works to create the Parkgate Retail Park and he was a taxi driver for many years.

He married Gaynor Dyson in 1998, and had three children Jason, Jess & Luke. This young, happy family created many treasured memories.
