Barbara Wynne August (1 Oct 1917 - 16 Mar 2016)

I was introduced to Barbara through my wife Lesley (died 2013), who had been one of Barbara's art students at Belvedere School in Liverpool. As the years rolled by, Lesley and I often visited Barbara at the Grange (for Lesley, Barbara's studio sessions were not to be missed! I was banished to the Leisure Centre), and here in Toronto. Always the reunions were stimulating, if not boisterous. No topic was ever
"off the table".
Sad for that era finally to end.

May Barbara, never to be forgotten, rest in peace.
