Thomas (Tam) Linton (26 May 1947 - 12 Mar 2016)

I will always remember you Tam as the larger than life fun guy who loved a laugh, a beer, a karaoke and a good debate! We used to have great discussions and we would put the world to rights after a few beers - we were always right eh Tam? It was the rest of the world who were out of step. I remember always looking forward to a Wednesday because you would cook a wonderful dinner for Deb & me (and Carol when she could make it) and sometimes you'd insist that I knew someone in a story you'd be telling "Aye you do know him, he drinks in the Dovey - you know" and I'd say "no I don't think so" "Aye you do!" Tam would insist and poor Deb would be willing me to acknowledge who Tam was referring to just so we could get on with the story and finish our tea! And the legendary New Year parties that went on all night. And yes, I forgive you for un-plugging the karaoke in the middle of our rendition of Robbie Williams "Angels". You and Joan both treated me like your own and I am forever grateful for your kindness and generosity (and good food). God Bless and thanks for the memories.

Rest in oeace Tam. I'll never forget what good friends you and Joan have been. We've lost a good one. Love Carol. xx
