RIP uncle bernie i will always have lots of good memories from the good times we have had most of what were made at the family get togethers, covering you in confetti and watching you roll down the hill at the pub. you will always be remembered. love from Sean & Mel

Although we hadn't know you long Bernie we were always amazed how you managed to smile and laugh through the awful debilitating disease that you had to cope with, you were a true inspiration to everyone around you.
I hope you've found peace and are looking down on Pauline and Ryan and as usual smiling - God bless Bernie and rest in peace x

Well Bern,where to start I have great memories of our weekends away with the lads as they were growing up on our trips to Sunderland to watch the games when our teams were playing each other.
Then there was the times at the Kings on a Sunday night when we would sit and put the world to rights.
RIP my friend you will be greatly missed.

RIP Bernie - have some wonderful memories of you to keep forever - Craig and Scott had some lovely times with you in Sunderland and we all had such good nights at The White Hart with you memories that will live on forever so get some good rest up there and say hello to all the family clan - will miss you. I will never forget when it was my Mum and Jacks birthday party. Danny, Sean and me had bought these massive confetti cannons and after singing Happy Birthday we gave them a twist. With a massive crack and it didn't help that we weren't the recommended 20m away from everyone, the dining room was filled with confetti..... well, everyone else ducked for cover, not knowing what was happening, all except poor Uncle Bernie who had been abandoned in the middle of the room and was now covered in confetti! It even went in his pint!! We felt like naughty children, giggling away in the back ground and we did go and dust him off, but he was happy, still sat there covered in colored paper laughing away. we are going to miss you.

Sleep tight Uncle Bernie, we will look after Aunty Pauline & Ryan for you, they are doing you proud.
