In loving memory of Benno - ( Richard Bettison ) who sadly passed away on 1st March 2016

Benno passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a 3 year long battle, in which he never gave up right until the end. It was his strong willpower, character and family that kept him with us for this long. He was laughing , joking and dancing till the end!
He was well known to everyone on his bin cleaning round as binman Benno after starting his round in 1992. Previous to this he worked at the pit and as an electrician.
He was the life and soul of the party where his speciality was doing the dying fly! Young and old loved him. He also enjoyed having a bet on the horses, and a game of poker which led to him winning a holiday to Las Vegas!
He loved the simpler things in life like taking Cassie for a walk, bird watching and enjoying a game of football.
He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
