While visiting mum at her house one day to organise tea for her, I remember her replying that she wasn't hungry when I asked her what she would like. She then followed this with
"If you could just get me a scone with jam and butter and a couple of eclairs, that would be nice dear"
Nanna/mum, the cake fiend!

Have peace now mum. You were an inspiration and always dealt with things with grace. I'm so glad to have been able to help you through the past two years when ill health took over.
I love and miss you.
Ruth xx
