In loving memory of Alan Richard Bale who sadly passed away on 8th February 2016. Much loved husband of Vicki and father to Jamie, Kelsey and Charlie.

Twenty one years ago Alan and Kate invited us to their home one Saturday afternoon. Our unborn baby had just been diagnosed with Down's syndrome. While our two boys played happily with Jamie and Kelsey, Alan and Kate shared their story. Their kindness, compassion, honesty and experience helped give us strength and confidence to continue and welcome Ben into our lives. That's the only time we met but it touched our hearts and will never be forgotten.
