In loving memory of Betty Maureen Harrison who fell peacefully asleep with a smile on her face on Wednesday 3rd February.

Betty fought a courageous battle with myeloma for nearly five years but never let the illness stop her from travelling the world, leading her classes at the gym and sharing her young heart with her beloved family and many friends.

Betty will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness and defiance. Her laughter was shared with so many and the joy she spread will live on in all who knew her.

Beautiful, brave Betty will be very sadly missed by her three children Lesley, Kevin and Simon, her partner Jon, her grandchildren, her sisters and her treasured family and friends. Rest in peace, our Lady Bet, we will always love you.

Family flowers only please but donations to Myeloma UK will be gratefully received. Kindly make your donation online at www.myeloma.co.uk or on the just giving section of this website. Alternatively cheques made payable to 'Myeloma UK' may be handed in at the funeral or sent to Nicholas O'Hara Funeral Directors, 38 Rowlands Hill, Wimborne, BH21 1AW. Thank you for your support.

Happy Birthday lovely Mum, it's not fair that you are not here to celebrate your day. We visited your grave today with flowers, it hurts not being able to speak to you, hug you. I hope you are having a party in heaven with your beloved family there. Sending you a big hug, love you Mum xxx

Mum the second Mothers Day without you. It's not any easier I miss you more. I'm not able to make you a cup of tea today or sit with you, I brought you a teacup of flowers instead, though it broke my heart to do this.
My girls, your beloved girls too, made me feel special today though I know they miss you too. Miss you and love you Mum xxxx

Mum a year ago today we said our final goodbye to you. The sun shone for you that day, there was so much sorrow and we were heartbroken but there was smiles too for the so many happy memories that we had of you. Remembering how you loved and lived your life to the full, how brave you were, the bravest of us all. Sleep tight my dear Mum, love you so much, Lesley xxx

Mum, a whole year has passed without you. I still can't believe that you are not with us. I go to phone you to tell you some news, I am driving and thinking will pop in for a cup of tea then I remember and the tears then flow as they did a year ago yesterday when my heart broke. I miss you more then you would ever have known.
Sleep tight mum I will always love you. Lesley xx

It's been a year without you, Nan. There hasn't been an hour in each day where I haven't thought about you and wished that I could give you a hug. I can't believe that a whole year has gone by. I never thought I'd make it through this night in 2016, let alone a year. Sending all of my love to you in heaven, until we meet again Nan xxxxxxx

Christmas time has come so fast,
Despite how much I prayed
That time would simply slow, or stop.
How I wish you could have stayed.

I cannot buy you gifts this year,
I cannot choose a card.
Oh Nan I wish you were here,
So life was not this hard.

I wish you would walk through that door,
As you do on Christmas Day.
I'd pick you first forever more
In every game we play.

There's just one thing I want this year,
My list is few and far.
I wish to send a hug and kiss
Up to heaven where you are.

A Christmas hug from me, dear Nan
And a Christmas kiss.
Of all the things I've lost this year,
It's these I dearly miss.

I know that you'll be with us,
Where ever we may be.
So I'll save a seat for you, Nan,
If you want to visit me.

I'm sending you all my love,
At Christmas and all year through.
We'll raise a glass in Christmas Day,
And toast "Nan, here's to you."

Merry Christmas, Nan. I love you xx

I missed you so much today, Nan. Although I had a lovely day, it just isn't the same without you; your phone call very first thing, your card - always delivered the night before addressed to "Miss K Johnson" but most importantly your hug and kiss as you walked in the door. I found the white feather this morning though, thank you for watching over me. I love you Nan xxxx

I know you would have loved yesterday so much (once you adjusted to having all the fuss!) You have such wonderful friends and family. I wish I could have shared them with you sooner. Now their memories of you will keep me smiling always xxxx

Happy Birthday Nan. Today we are celebrating on your behalf, with a Johnson garden party and afternoon tea, which I know you would have loved (but also would have complained about how much food there's going to be!) I miss you more than any words could describe and I would give anything to give you a birthday cuddle. I love you so much. Xxx
