Dave, I found it very hard to write this message as the thought process makes your passing all the more real..

I cant begin to tell you how much you were loved by your family and friends, and I think deep down you really knew that.

Your life was cut short by an illness that was both relentless and unforgiving, yet you faced it with such honesty and courage especially during the last few months.

You only lived 47 years on this earth - far too short by any measure, but we can take immense comfort and pride in everything that you experienced and achieved during these years.

Looking back on our childhood together, then growing up as teenagers and developing in to young men we shared so many great times, and I couldn’t have wanted for a better brother.

You developed into a truly gifted engineer, respected by your peers and colleagues, but above all you were a generous, warm hearted and compassionate person, and a loving son, brother, partner and friend who enjoyed life to the full.

I will always cherish the many happy memories of our brotherhood together and will keep them close as they are everlasting.

See you on the other side my brother XXX

Deepest sympathy goes to all of Dave's family. It is tragic and unexpected. Great lad! We had some good laughs at school. Although I haven't seen him in many years, I liked the man! RIP Dave. A sad loss to one so young.
