In loving memory of George Clark Logue who sadly passed away on 4th February 2016 at Bassingham Care Centre. George leaves behind two beloved Daughters, Marie and Magi along with Grandchildren, Samantha, Jessica, Liam and Brad.

George moved to Lincoln from Linlithgow, Scotland in the 1960's and travelled further afield whilst driving Fire Engines for the RAF. One of his favourite postings was Borneo and he loved to recount stories to his grandchildren about his time there. Upon returning to and settling in Lincoln he had a variety of jobs including driving lorries and buses and latterly delivering for Parcelforce around Lincolnshire. George loved nothing more than making home movies of his grandchildren who he doted on and how grateful they are now that they are grown up and can share in his handiwork!

Towards the end of 2010 George was diagnosed with Frontal Lobe Dementia which would eventually result in him moving to Bassingham Care Centre where he spent the last 3 years of his life. Magi & Marie spent time with him there weekly and in the last week of his life were by his side 24-7 along with their partners and George's grandchildren. George died peacefully at 3.30am on Thirsday 4th February, with his daughters at his bedside, they will miss him greatly but take some comfort knowing that his suffering has now ended.

What a lovely man who was blessed to have 2 lovely daughters and 4 fabulous grandchildren. I spent many weekends in the company of George and found the speed and severity of this awful disease to be both upsetting and shocking God bless George xxx
