I met Harry and Bruce on the bus years ago during SXSW in Austin. We kept in touch and hung out the next year too. Sweating and dancing at The Tradgically Hip. He was a lovely man. Im glad to have met him. Sincerely Shari Moorhouse

Rest in Peace Harry, so sorry to hear of your passing,
our families lived next door to each other in Pollok in the
Fifties and many happy times we had playing together,
you will always be thought of with affection,
you were a gentle and kind person and quite a character.

On behald of his group of Celtic Connection friends, we were shocked and saddened to hear of Harry's sudden passing. Glad that he can now be put to rest but regret not being able to attend his service on 9th February, 2016. He was a great character and will be sorely missed. It was not the same without his presence this year but he was there in spirit and will be remembered always for his kindness and love of music. Thinking of all his family and close friends especially.

Regards, Angela McMillan, Campbeltown, Argyll.

Harry showed great courage throughout his life while managing the effects of both Asthma and the loss of a leg following a works accident.
His disability however did not stop him from travelling far and wide to watch concerts and films.
His death in December from a heart attack was sudden and will come as a shock his many friends
He will be sadly missed by his family
