I would just like to say thank you to everyone who attended Joans funeral, special thanks go out to Aunty Doreen and Kevin for both having the strenght and courage to stand up to do a reading. Which must of been extremely hard, but which was done with great respect.
Currently from everyone who attended and a kind donation from Danny Hill we have raised over £600 for Father Paul, Joan's favourite charity.
I would just like to thank everyone for their kind contributions and attendance.

When I think of Joan I see a huge grin, hear a hearty laugh, teasing sense of humour and always a warm welcome with plenty of tea and cake when ever we visited from overseas. Joan was always thinking of others and never dwelt on her own health concerns. She will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered. We will not be there with the family on the 12th Feb but we will celebrate Joan's life in the evening with a glass of bubbles here in Australia. To you Joan-much love Nina and Steve xxx

I met Joan through being friends with my dear friend Jakki. Whenever I met Joan she was friendly, happy and helpful and I could see she was so proud of her beautiful family. Despite her going through many medical ordeals I never heard her complain. She was a lovely lady who will be missed, but her qualities will live on in her family. Rest In Peace and my best regards to her husband Ron and family xxx

To the best mother in law ever, my deepest sympathy goes out to Ron, Claire and Jakki.
Although Joan had very little, probably because she didn't really want much, just the love of her family, she would give you anything she had.
She would stop to talk to anyone and would do anything she could to help anyone, she would attract the weirdest of people, which seems to of rubbed off on Jakki and me.
She will be missed by all.
Love you Joan
Ian
