In loving memory of John Raymond Willis who sadly passed away on 21st January 2016

Tom Willis lit a candle
Steve Willis wrote

Last night my Dad decided it was time for him to exit this stage. He struggled with Dementia for 13 years and finally felt enough is enough.
My Dad, like most Dad's was my hero. He was the one I looked up to most. He was the one I wanted to please the most. I wanted him to be proud of me.
He never disappointed, he showed how proud he was rather than repeatedly saying it, by the way he acted, the way he carried himself, the way he swaggered.
He shaped me. He made me who I am today. I loved him with every fibre in my being and he loved me back unconditionally.
The start of this year has seen Rock Stars of the record industry pass away in great numbers. People we looked up to. People we believed in. People we listened to, followed and they helped shape our lives.
My Dad was my Rockstar and I'll sing his songs until the day I exit this stage hopefully with a following of my own.
John Willis (1933-2016)

Gone but never forgotten.
I love you Dad, my Rockstar
