Missing you still

When Jesus steps out and calls all of his children home.

April my condolences to you & your family

Lena (Mummy) entered my life in 1996 when I married her son Dexter. Dexter was mummy’s greatest gift to me.

For the better part of 17 years, I watched my mother-in-law get through everything life handed her. She smiled at the future and with words of wisdom encouraged others to reach their potential.

Mummy, you were a woman of virtue who did more than her duty. You never complained. You had a willing hand and an active mind, anxious to please. In you home I did not have to lift a finger and when you visited mine, you made me put my feet up.

You were an example of persistence, courage, faith, hope and love and I was privileged to have had you as my mother-in-law.

There was no time to say goodbye when you were called home. We miss you dearly and as you continue to rest in the Lord till we meet to part no more,

I'm having a really hard time with my words here! Please forgive me mom.I can't express myself because of the pain.As spiritual as I am,I'm praying for understanding.All of me aches by your absence,but God knows my heart and only He knows why He held your hand and led you to His kingdom.Love you forever.To our loving mother who gave so much of

I have never known you to ever raise your voice to anyone or say anything negative about any person. These were some of your gifts of your truly gentle nature. I never told you that I loved you, now it's too late. Good night Aunty Lena and Rest in eternal peace at the side of our Lord.

I pray that the Lord will continue to keep and guide all you left behind, may you vontinue to rest in.peace

Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. You all are in my prayers.

Aunty Lena, my Aunty Lena. So many many special memories of you during my life. One of my precious is, being with you whilst visiting Acre Lane, you cooking and me watching, just keeping you company and Chatting.

You taught me how to make cornmeal dumplings and shape them correctly, a small portion but great memories for me. With an unconscious smile on my face, I think to myself, if I had to name a child, she'd be named Acre Lane, once I married Mr Cornmeal Dumpling.
