In loving memory of Peter William Metcalf who sadly passed away on 11th January 2016

Fiona Hendry wrote

I hope we all did you proud last week and you enjoyed the pint(s) in the Bull. You made a difference in so many lives and your memory will live on through us all. I still can't believe you're not with us anymore, however, I'm thankful you're no longer suffering. You fought so hard but now you can finally put your feet up and relax. Be happy and never stop watching over us.

I love you Grampy xxx

Only knew you for a short while and it was a pleasure knowing you. You will be sadly missed by all. You are now pain free and no longer suffering, which is the best thing for you just a shame it didn't happen when you were here. Go rest in peace knowing you were loved by so many people. Love and thoughts to all the family at this sad time. Xxxxx

There's still so much I want to say to you. I miss you immensely. I'd give anything to walk into your house and for you to say "oh not you again, and you brought that little fella too". You were a wonderful gramps to me and great gramps to Jacob. He'll grow up to adore you as much as we all did. Heaven gained a cheeky new Angel when you left us. I hope you're at peace and enjoying endless pints. You'll always be in my heart. Thank you for everything.
Love you grampy, forever and always xxx

As you can see from the information on this page, we have requested for any donations to go to the Scotter Ward, where Dad spent his last 5 weeks, where he was looked after by the remarkable staff on the ward. They have a lovely facility for palliative care, however they are doing lots fundraising to refurbish the facility, So both the family and the staff and patients of Scotter ward would be more than grateful for any donations.
Dad, we still can't believe that you have gone forever. RIP Dad, until we meet again. XX
