In loving memory of Eve who sadly passed away on 10th January 2016.

Eve's health had been deteriorating over the past few months but in true 'mum' fashion she did not want to make a fuss and refused to believe a visit to the doctors was in order. She was admitted to Medway Maritime hospital and the family cannot more grateful of the care and consideration with which they treated her. She spent the last 10 days of her life in hospital where we all had the chance to say goodbye, thank her for all she had done for us and wish her well on her way.

For those who are interested, Coco the parrot now lives happily with Gary and family.

Floral tributes can be sent to John Weir Funeral Directors, 25, New Road, Chatham by 9am on the 3rd February or if so desired donations for Demelza Hospice Care for Children may be sent by cheque made payable to the charity c/o John Weir or made on-line.

Although our paths rarely crossed, Eve was often in my thoughts. A kind, fair, calm and consistent woman, I had the greatest respect for her. Eve was a wonderfully loving grandmother to Josh. She will be greatly missed.

Eve welcomed me into her loving arms when I was sweet sixteen. Eve was an angel loaned to us from Heaven to make so many people and animals have a happy life. I will always be so thankful to you Eve for all you have done for me and for my children Tiffany and Scott. God bless you beautiful lady xxx

Dear Eve, Mary Poppins comes to mind! Always had the best house wives' tips for any disaster! No nonsense approach to most things but we all know she had a kind, caring and very generous heart. Your love of animals was so touching and the many happy memories we have of you will surely comfort us. God bless xx

To Kevin, Martin and Gary,
I was so sad to receive news of your mother's death. Chris and I treasured the memory of the years that we shared living next door to you all. To live among good neighbours is such a blessing.
Deepest sympathy,
Alan

Wasn't I the lucky one having a lovely mum-in-law. I remember when I first met Eve 10 years ago now and giving her a hug and a kiss. She was like a piece of wood in my arms! I use to remind her of that and take the mickey - she was a most tolerant woman! Thank you so much Eve for everything. Love always. xxx
