Joan Florence Humphreys (12 Jul 1925 - 8 Jan 2016)

In loving memory of Joan Florence Humphreys who sadly passed away on 8th January 2016. Mum had been rather ill since November 2015 and became progressively more frail in her last few days.
Mum was born on 12th July 1925 in Waltamstow to Norman and Florence Licence and was sister to her older brother Dennis. It was during 1933 that the Licence family moved to Worcester Park in Surrey, where they attended the Worcester Park Methodist Church and in 1936 became a member of the Girls Life Brigade graduating to Lieutenant in 1950 when she married Keith Humphreys. By 1957 they had three children, myself (Peter) and twins Kenneth and John. During the early 1960's they moved to Banstead in surrey, where the three of us grew and then left home. Mum and dad spent the last 20 plus years in South Petherton, Somerset, before moving up to the nursing home in Merstham, Surrey where they have been for the last two years.
