In loving memory of John Howard Bull who very sadly passed away on 26th March 2025.

Lynne, Jonathan and Gareth have selected Macmillan as our chosen charity for voluntary donations. Macmillan have been helping people affected by cancer and their families for over a 100 years. They provide essential care, guidance and support to people living with cancer across the UK.

Through Lynne's voluntary experience with Citizens's Advice she has seen how profoundly a cancer diagnosis can impact individuals and families. Beyond the impact on an individual's health a cancer diagnosis often brings complex emotional and practical challenges as well. Macmillan is a lifeline for so many people, supporting them every step of the way through their cancer journey.

Thank you for supporting Macmillan with a gift in John's memory.

So sad to hear about John's passing, I met him a couple of times and spoke to him a few times too, such a lovely man. He was good friends with my stepdad Frank who passed away unexpectedly last year. I'm sure they are reunited again. Sending much love to you all. Leanne.

A true gentleman. I only had the pleasure of knowing John for a few years, but in that time he never failed to make me laugh with his wit and intelligent humour. I’ll always remember you John.

I'll always remember JB's wicked sense of humour, his love of a good curry, and gave me my first job as a Potato Futures Trader over 30 years ago. Our thoughts go out to Lynn and the family

I have known John for 40 years. We worked together for Gardner Lohmann Ltd in different departments, but spent most lunch breaks playing chess. John was an exceptionally knowledgable compliance specialist who consulted for many of the firms I worked for.
He was also an enthusiastic motorcyclist who have owned various bikes during the past 50 years. We even bought and shared a Harley Davison Springer 1450cc for a few years.
John was one of the nicest guys I have ever known. He always offered to help others and I never heard him say a bad word about anyone.
I am absolutely devasted at losing such a good friend. He was a true legend – one of a kind. My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

A very sad loss of a good, old friend who Brian has known since the early days of 18+ (some 50 years ago) and shared many laughs and good times with over the years. John will be much missed by us both.

We have known John from the 18+ days and also enjoyed many summer and ski holidays with John, Lynne and family. He was always so much fun to be with, a great guy.
John was my running partner and we completed quite a few marathons together. I remember, after too many beers, being talked into the Lake District marathon, John said don't worry it will be flat!
