On 21st March 2025, at The Hawthornes, Birkenshaw, formerly of Drighlington and Birstall, aged 78 years, John, beloved husband of the late Catherine, and dearly loved partner of Margaret Duffy, much loved dad of mark, David, Claire and Andrew, dear father in law of Suzanne and Sarah, remembered with much love by his step-children Andrew and Richard and their partners Stacey and Rebecca, a proud grandad and great grandad, a very dear and loved brother, brother in law uncle, cousin and friend.
Funeral service will be held at St Patrick’s RC Church, Birstall on Thursday 17th April 2025 at 12 noon, followed by interment at Batley Cemetery at 1pm. Everyone will be made welcome at Birstall Nash for refreshments following the service.
Family flowers only, donations in John’s memory may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of both the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and the Royal Signals Association.
