In loving memory of Beverley Ann Newman who sadly passed away on 27th December 2015.
A very special Lady. Bev was beautiful, intelligent, kind, compassionate, fun to be with and so much more. In her battle against illness over the past few years Bev has demonstrated, time and again, her bravery and courage in the way she has grabbed life by its horns. Through her own pain and suffering she would always always put others first. Always concerned with the wellbeing of her family and friends above herself.
A loyal friend to all those lucky enough to be able to call her that. I was fortunate enough to spend 30 years by her side, in her shadow. I miss her and will always treasure the memories that we made together.

I only met Bev on a few occasions but I remember that she always had a ready smile. She was Annie's rock during her illness and I know how proud Annie and Roy were of their daughter. Rest in peace

A sneaky photo taken on the upstairs gallery at Highclere Castle. ( Strictly no photography allowed !!!). Of course it wouldn't have been a proper day out without getting up to something naughty.
This photo was taken in December 2013 at Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). We went to a Christmas craft fair in the castle. The interior was wonderfully decorated, with a huge Christmas tree in the main hall. A choir sang Christmas carols . A wonderful memory.
