In loving memory of Moira O'Rourke who sadly passed away on 20th March 2025, aged 87 years.

Originally born and brought up in Bridgeton, Walkinshaw Street. She married the love of her life Joe O'Rourke on the 2nd April 1955, 70 years ago.
She gets to celebrate her 70th wedding anniversary with her love beyond the gates of heaven where he has waited for her for 20 years.
She missed Joe daily and always said she wanted her Joe.
Moira and Joe started their family of 7 a few months after they married and welcomed Frank into the world followed by Theresa. This was not the end of the children as they then brought Thomas, Brendan, Paul, Joseph and Scott into the family. This then led to Moira having 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In Moira's younger days she used to love socialising with friends where her and Joe played bingo in the centre for the deaf club. They loved to go on holiday to Malta and Benidorm.
Moira maintained her faith in her daily prayers 🙏🏼
