In loving memory of Sonja Curtis who sadly passed away on 16th March 2025. Family flowers only please. Donations gratefully received for RNLI Southend or Guide Dogs for the Blind.

The funeral service will be held at St. George and the English Martyrs Catholic Church, Ness Road, Shoeburyness SS3 9DH at 11.00am on Wednesday 2 April. You are welcome to join us afterwards for refreshments at La Petite Petanque, Cambridge Square Gardens, The Bowling Green Pavilion, Cambridge Road, Clifftown, Southend SS1 1EY from 12.45 pm.

Dearest Sonja, thank you for welcoming me with open arms into your precious family and treating me like a valued daughter for the past 40 years. 



You had the most beautiful soul and touched so many hearts with your warmth, kindness and compassion. Your unwavering love, faith, inner strength and heartwarming smile will always come to mind when I think of you. I’ll forever cherish the wonderful memories and love you shared with me. You really were an inspiration and example to us all.
