The funeral service will be held at St. George and the English Martyrs Catholic Church, Ness Road, Shoeburyness SS3 9DH at 11.00am on Wednesday 2 April. You are welcome to join us afterwards for refreshments at La Petite Petanque, Cambridge Square Gardens, The Bowling Green Pavilion, Cambridge Road, Clifftown, Southend SS1 1EY from 12.45 pm.

From the moment I met you you always treated me as if I were your own granddaughter. I will always remember how kind and happy you were and the way your face used to light up whenever you were with your family. I will miss you greatly! Xx
Sonja was a lovely lady, she always made us smile. From time to time she would ring me and she would say ‘what’s up pusssycat’. She will be greatly missed.
