Dear friends and family of our beautiful Daisy who we sadly said our final farewell to on 20th March 2025. This is certainly not her full obituary; we will be recalling precious memories over the next few weeks to share with you all when we celebrate her long and colourful life.

However, we wanted to remind everyone of the date and time of Daisy’s funeral which will be held on the 24th of April 2025 at Porchester Crematorium South chapel at 1pm. Friends and family are then invited to join us to celebrate Daisy’s incredible life from 2pm at the Orange Grove Hotel and Gardens Coldeast Drive, Sarisbury, Southampton SO31 7PT.

The dress code is smart, but Daisy said do not feel you have to wear black.

As opposed to flowers, Daisy mentioned that if you feel you want to make a voluntary donation to Young Epilepsy, this would be very much appreciated. This charity holds significant value to Daisy as her Granddaughter Becca has epilepsy, and also works for them as an organisation. Young Epilepsy are a very small charity that support children and young adults to reach their full potential.

Please use this platform to leave any tributes you have for Daisy from words to pictures. It will offer us all a great deal of comfort to read these and remember Daisy for the incredible lady she was that touched so many of lives all over the world.

We would all like to thank you for the care already shown to Daisy’s immediate family by so many. We know that Daisy would have really appreciated the compassion and support shown to her family at this difficult time.

We hope as many of you as possible can join us as we celebrate a truly inspiring and strong lady on the 24th April. Please either use the RSVP service on this platform or let the family know you will be attending. Please also let us know if you have any dietary requirements, allergies or you require any additional support to attend.

With love to all xxx

Daisy was an inspirational lady/Mother/Nanna and friend she was always decades younger than her actual age. She always gave sage advice and had a wonderful sense of humour.
How lucky we were to have her in our lives. Daisy made the world a better place by being in it, she’s with the angels now.

You'll always be my dear Mum. Though no longer with us in body, your spirit will shine brightly like a beautiful candle. We lit many together over the years, in many churches...now I will light one in memory of you, in our local church. "Gone, but never forgotten" and at peace with the angels now...xxx

Dear Daisy, I have know you since I was a young girl, back when you and the whole family lived in Bulgaria. You were truly an amazing character and a kind-hearted woman. This is how I will always remember you.

I still remember so vividly how you were taking care of Jaz and I as I was spending so much time at your house. I will forever keep in my heart the memories we shared in Bulgaria. I have never forgotten you even though the many kilometers apart.

May your soul find the peace you deserves.
Love,
Kosara

Ohh Daisy,
Where to start..my head is soo full of nothing but beautiful and kind memories dating back to when both myself and your daughter Sarah were 15 at school, you were always my second mum and sat me down and talked to me about matters that I'd rather talk to you about back then.
You were the glue that kept us all together and even though we didn't see each other as much as we once did, when we did managed to see each other we always shared such an incredible bond dating back 35 years.
You've done such an incredible job raising such an outstanding family take pride in that now that you get to look down upon us all and guide them as I know you will from up there. Miss you and love you always.
Your dearest Edd.

We will always be surrounded by beautiful flowers to remind us of you Mum, so I think this was such a wonderful idea to support a charity that meant something to you. You were so proud of the work Becca does for Young Epilepsy and rightly so, we all are. Your children and Grandchildren will of course be saying our final goodbyes to you with flowers that you helped pick, this will make them even more beautiful. Who loves you babe, miss you so much xxx
