Sister Sylvia❤️
What a beautiful woman.
She always had a warm smile and kind word for me. I remember meeting her when I was still a relatively young wife and mother. Her gentle nods of encouragement were deeply appreciated. I know that her passing is painful, and my prayers are with her family. To her family I say this - sis Sylvia was MUCH appreciated.

Sorry I cannot join you for the service as I’m away from home.

With love,
Marcia Ogunji

Our dear Pastor Meldrum,
We wish to pass on our condolences to you and the family, on the passing in to glory of our very beloved Sister Sylvia.

Our hearts were very heavy when we heard of the illness and we actively prayed and trusted our God to do what was best for her.

We bless God for His unfailing and unchanging love for her, you, and all the family. The separation is though very painful, we know that our beloved Sister and Mother is now safely in the bosom of the One she lived for. She is rejoicing, looking into His eyes, and beautifully worshipping Him, completely out of pain. This knowledge fills our hearts with peace and joy.

We trust God that He will continue to keep you and the family strong, peaceful and powerfully comforted by this assurance. He is your Strength and Shield as you go through this very challenging time.

" The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him". Ps 28:7

Much love and prayers from us,
Bayo and Bola Olufemi

God, I thank You for Grandma SyIvia's life.

I loved Grandma so much.
If I could guarantee one person who would remember me and my family on Christmas / our Birthdays / New Years, it would be Grandma. Such a joy to be around, hug and see smile.

My grandmas tend to be in Nigeria often so I did not get to see them often compared to my peers, Grandma Sylvia and Grandpa Meldrum were the closest thing I had to that growing up.

I thank God for her life and the beautiful impact she gave to others. Lord please comfort Grandpa and show him that peace which transcends all understanding. Thank You for answered prayers, Abba, in Jesus' name. I love you Grandma Sylvia.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we take comfort in knowing she now rests in the presence of the Lord she so faithfully served.
