Gareth Williams (30 Apr 1982 - 7 Mar 2025)

Gareth leaves an awesome legacy of great taste in music and movies, switched on and compassionate politics, a brilliant sense of humour and a beautiful family. Very sorry for this loss.

I first saw you when you were 6 months old when Mum came back to Southampton. You were so cute in your little blue suit and hat. I remember you as a lovely boy who could name every make and model of cars when you were pre school age from time spent with Grandad. I haven’t seen you in recent years but know that you were so loved and will be greatly missed. God Bless you Gareth for the joy and love that you brought your family.

It was a pleasure and an honour to meet Gareth came to Scotland with my cousin Kimberley and daughter Izzy. He was such a kind, loving and gentle soul and the three of them were such a happy unit which was a joy to see. God bless now Gareth and may you be at peace ❤️

Gareth had such a big impact on me. While we worked together, his calm and joy spread into my personal life too. I am heartbroken by his going away, but I am holding onto the thought that I was lucky to met him. Thank you so much, G.

Gareth I feel I have known you for years, but did not really know you, I have been on holiday with you, you were such a gentle soul, who
loved and was loved by his grandma Jean and his mum Jenny, you were the apple of their eye. You found the love of your life in Kim and I was very pleased you found another person to love and adore you. Rest in peace Gareth all the suffering now at an end, you leave behind so much love.

Gareth was one of the kindest people and best leaders I have ever met. He taught me so much, and I feel privileged to have worked alongside him. He will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

I was so blessed to have had you as my one and only son. Gentle, kind, generous and funny with such a wicked sense of humour. You always made me so proud. You chose the absolute best partner in Kim and it was a joy to see what a great marriage you had. With Izzy too you had such a tight knit loving family. I am heartbroken to lose you but have wonderful memories to brighten the dark days. God bless you darling boy xxxx
