In loving memory of Christopher Arthur Wood who sadly passed away on 18th December 2015 aged 63, after a long but courageously fought illness.
He was a loving father to Christopher, Rebecca, Nicholas and Jodie, and beloved granddad to Madison, Travis, Charlie and Isabelle and Ben, Ella, Lacey, Harrison and Ailbe.
He will be sadly missed by friends and family who were lucky to have known him, and never forgotten by his soul mate Edith.
In lieu of flowers, as per Chris's wishes, donations to either Hayward House or The Dialysis Unit Nottingham City Hospital can be made at the service or online via A W Lymn Funeral Directors.
Service will be held at Wilford Hill Crematorium (Main Chapel), Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, NG2 7FE on the 8th of January 2016 at 2pm.
Cortege will be leaving A W LYMN Robin Hood House, Robin Hood Street, Nottingham, NG3 1GF at approx. 1:40pm, well wishers who would like to be part of the procession should arrive at 1:20pm

Pops . I will never forget your trademark ( yeeeep ) ( riiight ) from our conversations we had when I used to stay . Lacey and harry loved coming to see grandad and his fish . You were a pleasure to know and you will live on in many many hearts . Fly high with the other Angels xxxx

Chris, you was a great example of a great person,father in law and dad. If my children can love me like your children have loved you then I will be a happy man. You looked so happy to walk Jodie down the aisle,as I know she was.A loving memory shared by us all.
You was a strong courageous man who showed no fear and never moaned in life. I always enjoyed your company and presence. Taken so early but remembered by all as an inspiration. Until next time Chris!love always Dave.

Well where do I start he was a strong, brave, loyal, and my dad. He was one of the most admirable person anyone could ever meet. I still can't believe you have left us so early in life But one day we will meet again. Love you dad sleep tight xxx
