In loving memory of Susan (Sue) Doidge who sadly but peacefully passed away and gained her angel wings after a short diagnosis with Lewy Body Dementia on the 8th of March 2025🕊️
Our much loved Mum, Grandma, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and Friend, Sue touched the lives and hearts of everyone she met and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her 💔
Chad, Toni, Charlotte, Hollie and Sue’s siblings welcome you to share in a celebration of Sue’s life on the 14th April and remember the joy and the happiness of times shared and the memories made, that we all have of our beloved Sue.
Dress code for the day, in honour of our beloved Mum, will be a combination of traditional formal with a splash of Mum’s favourite colour of either Blue, Red, Stripy, Chequered or Floral (not that mum wore much floral, but she loved flowers)
Immediate Family Flowers Only Please, we will make arrangements for and supply single stem roses, for anyone wishing to say their goodbyes to lay a rose 🌹 with Sue. We also welcome you, if you so wish, to write your own floral card tribute to Sue and bring it with you (don’t forget the holder) to place in the Family Spray Flowers ❤️
Mum loved flowers, but despised seeing them go to waste or the wildlife and would much prefer the money spent on floral tributes was donated to The Lewy Body Society so that others living with the disease could benefit, as this type of dementia is the most often overlooked, little known about, debilitating disease.
The Lewy Body Society are a small charity with a global reach, campaigning tirelessly to highlight Lewy Body dementia. As the first Lewy Body dementia charity in Europe, they have been leading the way in supporting research and raising awareness. Thank you 🙏
After the service we welcome you to join us at the Railway Inn, Botley, to raise a glass in Sue’s memory and to continue to celebrate her life (she loved a party) and share your stories and memories of a very special, much loved lady 🥰
Please see below the details of the service and gathering after as well as a link to donations and somewhere where you can leave your own messages and tributes, through lighting a candle 🕯️ or sharing a photo xx
