In loving memory of our beloved Derek Harper, who sadly passed away on 18th February 2025.

Derek was a kind and loving husband, devoted father, brother, son and a cherished member of our village in Rowland's Castle. He touched countless lives through his work, his compassion, his smile and his incredible generosity, across the world. Derek will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will take place on 20th March 2025, where we will honor Derek's enduring legacy to help homeless Service Veterans. In lieu of flowers, donations for The Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) can be made online using the donation link on this page or via a collection box which will be located at the wake.

Sorry I missed the service today my old mate. You made me feel very welcome when I first joined Pall Aerospace and it was great working with you on various programs over the years, we shared similar career paths working both in the UK and the US, I use to enjoy or chats a lot about your family and some of the transitioning pains that we both went through when we moved stateside to work. You were never to busy to give people time, you were great with the next generation of engineers that were coming up through the ranks as well. You’ll be missed by a lot of us mate, I’ll seen you again one day.

Foxy.
