Helena Margaret Bishop, of Gringley on the Hill (formerly Tickhill), passed away peacefully at home, together with her family and her devoted little dogs on March 4th 2025.
Devoted, loving and beloved Mother to Sarah and Claire, Sister to Susan and Elizabeth, Granny to Sam, Hannah, Isabel, Chester and George, Great Granny to Edie, much loved Auntie, Cousin and Dear Friend to so many.
Helena was a shining light who touched so many lives. We were never ready to lose her but know she will always be here with us, watching over us.
We would like to convey our thanks to everyone for donating in memory of Helena to aid us in our work at The Donkey Sanctuary. We hope it will bring some comfort that the memory of Helena will live on through these donations. This support today helps us to look after donkeys in our care at sanctuaries across the UK and Europe and reach out to donkeys in desperate need around the world.
