In loving memory of Rosa Maria Sanchez Panchuelo who sadly passed away on 13th February 2025, aged 43 years old. She will be deeply missed by her two children, Claire and Enael, her loving partner, Olivier, as well as her parents, sisters and countless friends she made during her life.
The funeral service will be at Bramcote crematorium on Saturday the 15th of March, at 2pm. A livestream is available for those who cannot make it. On Rosa's request, please wear colourful clothes, Rosa was always vibrant and full of life. She also loved flowers, but wasn't keen on cut flowers, so consider giving to Maggie's instead, a centre that made a big difference to her in the last few years.
After the ceremony, a celebration of life will be hosted at the Sport and Social club on University campus (NG7 2QA). If you want to join us, please bring some snacks or a cake that you know Rosa would have appreciated. Drinks will be available at the bar.

You were the first to welcome me at Peter Mansfield... the first to invite me to have lunch together... and your hospitality has always been generous towards everyone. Here, when you came to visit us in Rome and were our first guest the day after the move, even though with a somewhat improvised dinner, we were so happy to be able to return your generosity and the hospitality you've shown over the years. Even though our opinions were often different on various topics, I have always admired how you genuinely took the time to understand and address the needs of everyone. This testimony is precious to all of us.
