Many many many happy memories of Ron during our Scouting days at 20th Dewsbury Scout Group in Earlsheaton.

Ron was our Scout Leader first then a much loved Akela. He was a gentle soul with a wonderful and hilarious sense of humour. We've camped up those hills and down those dales, lots of singing around camp fires, hiked for miles and done some amazing things with groups of cubs and scouts from the 70s to the 90s.

Ron was a true Scout and "always did his best" for the young people.

Akela Ron - you'll never be forgotten

Rest in peace Ron - you have "Gone Home"

Marilyn on behalf of all the Scouters at the former 20th Dewsbury Scout Group.
