A life well lived. You will be missed in the everyday normalcy of just being. Watching concerts, having a drink and laughing at stupid people.

RIP Russ, It was a pleasure knowing you, I was at your wedding to Dawn and have the Honour of being your Daughters GodMother. I remember having a conversation with you about you being a “Silly Sailor” as I called them and how proud you felt every time you put your uniform on, and I’ve gotta say you did look good. “Fair winds and following seas” xx

I went to Hempstead Juniors with Russ and then on to Napier with him. Had many beers in the Saucer and at the reunions. Such a nice guy and good mate. Such sad news to be taken so young. My heart goes out to all his family and friends.

I met Russ through my very good friend Mo. What a wonderful man with a cheeky sense of humour, I shall miss the various church pictures you would send me. What a giggle I would have nothing better than an inside joke. Rest in peace Russ a very sad loss to many who had the pleasure of knowing you. Thinking of your family and friends x
