Catherine Greene wrote

What is a Father-in-law?
He is gentle, he is kind, he cracks a joke when there is family tension, he quietly supports in the back ground and he joins in the antics (often dressing up), he gives lifts, and hugs, he decorates for parties, his cottage pie is legendary, as is his quest for flavoursome food. He endures the chaos and the noise, so others have joy. He is always there. He is irreplaceable. He is missed.

Thank you Mountbatten, for all you did for Bryan and his family. My children have good final memories of visiting their Grandad whilst he was with you.

To my dear Papa, aka “the come-back King”. Can’t believe you finally left us 2 weeks ago today, we were beginning to think you were immortal! Love you so much and miss you lots. Your little Lizzie. Xxxx
