Lawrence "Roy" Allsopp (15 May 1939 - 23 Feb 2025)

In loving memory of Roy Allsopp, self-proclaimed best goalie in Stabbo, who sadly passed away on 23rd February 2025, aged 85 years old.

Husband to Mavis for 65 years, father to Gary & Steph, grandfather to Matt, Sam, Paddy & Jack, & great-grandfather to Molly & Daisy. He will not only be sorely missed by his immediate family, but equally by the many friends he accumulated in his lifetime.

Whilst we all mourn his loss, we celebrate his existence.

His funeral will take place at Bramcote Crematorium on Wednesday 19th March at 10:00am.

The family request no flowers, please; In lieu of which, donations to The Helpful Bureau, Stapleford, as you see fit, will be gratefully appreciated.

The funeral will be followed by a celebration buffet in the lounge of Sandby Court Retirement Complex, Bramcote Lane, Chilwell, NG9 5ER (opposite Bramcote Lane tram stop), Roy's home for the last 20+ years.
