In Loving Memory of Terry James King September 6, 1939 – February 28, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Terry King on Friday, February 28th.

A devoted husband to Anne, father to James and Charlie, grandfather to six grandchildren and a great-grandfather to Alfie and Tillie. Terry was a man of great passion and character. He will always be remembered for his deep love of music, motorbikes and farming. His legacy lives on, not only through his family but also in his famous answerphone messages, which became so well-loved that people would call from near and far just to listen.

A funeral service will be held on March 20th at 12 noon at St Michael & All Angels Church, Urchfont, followed by a private burial for family only.

The family warmly invites everyone to join them in celebrating Terry’s life at The Lamb Inn, Urchfont.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wiltshire & Bath Air Ambulance in Terry’s memory.
