Glenn had a tremendous impact on my life having met him at University and was always up for giving things a try and making the most of opportunities. I have found myself chuckling at the antics Glenn, Perran and I got up to, followed by disbelief that he has gone. He was a true friend who could always be relied upon and I feel very honoured to have known him. We'd often send messages to each other when seeing certain films (Top Gun, Young Guns....we are of a certain era) and always knew we'd be there for each other. We will all miss him dearly and my thoughts are with his friends and family. Glenn you left too soon and I will truly miss you.

I have lost a cousin and still cannot believe you are no longer here. I remember babysitting and going on holiday to the Lake District so many years ago.
I hope all the loving tributes give comfort to his family. A wonderful man who touched the hearts of so many who will never forget him.
My prayers and thoughts are with Ali, Grace, Joe, Stuart, Tony and Carol.

Glenn was a truly an incredible person who embodied a true heart. He was my mentor, Coach and the voice in my head that said to keep going. I owe everything within my journey to him as he was the one who reminded me of my potential and how far I can go. There was alot to learn from Glenn and I don't just mean in sport sense but more valuable life lessons that someone will carry with them throughout their entire lifes. Glenn had a huge impact on every member of Itchen as he was the shining example and leader of two of the biggest areas of Itchen which he led admirably for many years. Respected,Loved and Cherished he will be sorely missed and whoever ends up taking his places as head of UPS and Sport will have a very big role to fill to carry on the legacy which will continue in Glenns name. Rest in peace Glenn and thank you for everything you ever did not just for me but for every member of the Itchen family.

My thoughts are with Glenn’s family, friends and the Itchen College community. I remember him as a great colleague at Itchen College, supportive of students, helpful to fellow staff and a staunch NUT and NEU member. His smiling presence will be missed.

From Brian (Glenn’s mums’ partner for 30 years)
I have known Glenn for 30 years, since his time at university of St Marks and Saint Johns in Plymouth.
Throughout his short life, he was a noble man with true integrity.
His life was filled with honour, friendship, love and laughter.
I am so sad as to his passing and my sincere condolences go out to the close family; Ali, Grace, Joe, Carol, Tony and Stewart.
Also, to all his extended family plus past and present friends and acquaintances. Everyone will miss him whole heartedly.
His enthusiasm and humour were contagious, and was felt by the thousands of people who knew him.
Sleep well my friend.
