In loving memory of John Goodge who sadly passed away on 24th February 2025

Sadly our Dad and Loving husband to Margaret lost his fight on 24th February after a short illness . He will be so sadly missed and most certainly can never be replaced.
Since his passing we have heard the term “Legend” and “character “ so many times . These 2 words most certainly sum him up .
We are overwhelmed by the messages, cards and kind words about The Legend that was . ❤️❤️

Dear John
First of all I thank you for being you and nobody else!
You was and are a gentleman!
A scholar! And a rogue!
A humble, intelligent and witty man!
For anyone who had the great opportunity no know you would know this!
Secondly I thank you for being a fantastic husband and best friend to my beautiful sister who I know you loved so much!
From a young age myself I had always wished I would have the same happiness and long commitment as you and my sister had.
Thank you for everything we did together!
I will never forget it!
God bless you my friend
You was the love joy of the car trade!
All my love forever
Rest in peace
Kenny xxxxxxxx

So sad to hear of Johns passing, he bought three cars from me over the years, the final one being his mercedes which I think he loved. Margaret told me he has never kept a car for so long, so glad he enjoyed it. Sending our love and best wishes to all John's family and friends at this very sad time.

I am saddened to hear of John’s passing. He was certainly a legend in his own lunch time as well as on the golf course and probably into the night time as well!
I remember his humour, his good nature and his support when I was Captain.
RIP John
