John Nickname(Colonel) Well you deserve a rest from me and Allan. What good times and laughs we 3 had together. You saying are you going to make a start when you were Shipworker and us saying no its still raining. When you used to drop them sets short in the Barge and me and Allan saying you can pick that up ,then you would go off on one and we would laugh and that made you worse. John you was a good workmate and a good friend. Im going to miss you but will not forget you. Barrie Nickname (Squeaker)

Dearest John, you and Pam were a part of my life for 30 years, starting off as clients but over the years becoming more like family. Maddie thought of you and Pam as grandparents. I loved the way you and Maddie would chat, putting the world to rights while I did Pam’s hair. I’m heartbroken to have lost you both, but I’m glad you’re now together again. Xx
