In loving memory of Melvyn Lacey who sadly passed away on 18th February 2025..

Melvyn was a wonderful Husband, Dad and Granddad. He was loved and will be missed so much by us all.

He grew up with his Mum and Dad, Jack and Eliza in Broxtowe with his older brother John. He married Margaret in 1970, and over 54 years they built a life filled with love and family. A hardworking man, he spent most of his career as a sheet metal worker at Blackburn and Starling, always in his element making things. After retiring, he found joy in building sheds and growing vegetables, simple pleasures that reflected his quiet, practical nature. Melvyn was a man of kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to his family. He loved every minute spent with his Grandchildren. His quiet presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

We welcome all who wish to celebrate his life to join us at Bramcote Crematorium on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at 2 p.m., followed by a gathering at The Bowman.
