Mark Fisher donated £150 in memory of Lesley

So many, in the previous messages, have already said very eloquently what I would want to say about the truly AMAZING Lesley and how she positively impacted so many people's lives.
That positive approach to life was so inspirational to me, and I was so very privileged to have Lesley love me so very much.
Our hearts go out to Lesley's fabulous family and close friends. Xxxx
Mark, James and Barbara

I was very sad to hear of Lesley’s death. Lesley was my cousin, she was so calm, welcoming, warm and intelligent. One of my earliest memories is teenage Lesley, no doubt dressed in splendid bell bottoms, taking me to the park to play on the swings. Lesley glued a pair of her false eyelashes on me, I was a very chuffed little 70s girl then! In later years, I learned about Lesley’s visit to number 10, I was so impressed and pleased for her, she was doing such important work. Lesley was so loved by everyone she met, I think. What a loss. My heartfelt commiserations go to her beloved family and friends.

I feel grateful to have known Lesley and for the support she offered me during my training. I fondly recall the Enigma years! Lesley, you will be deeply missed, and my thoughts are with your family. May Allah grant you serenity in the gardens of paradise. Ameen.

I had the privilege of working alongside Lesley for 17 years. She remained full of life, new ideas and enthusiasm throughout. She made a huge contribution to Education
both as a manager and a teacher

Her creative and imaginative approach in the classroom helped to motivate learners, many of whom had been non attenders at school and had been disengaged from employment/training for years

Lesley was much respected and liked by myself, her colleagues and all who were inspired by her teaching

My thoughts are with Richard and all the family. Lesley is very sadly missed by us all

Lesley was an extraordinary educator, colleague, friend, and advisor. Her unwavering dedication to prison education and her innovative concept, Enigma, which she proudly presented at No. 10 Downing Street, have left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Lesley was more than just a teacher, manager and CPD champion; she was an inspiration to her students and colleagues alike. Her caring nature and commitment to excellence set a high standard for all. She believed in the transformative power of education and worked tirelessly to bring hope and knowledge to those who needed it most.

In the workplace, Lesley was a beacon of joy and positivity. Her infectious laughter and ability to find fun in every situation made the work environment a place of enjoyment and camaraderie. She had a unique talent for bringing people together, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.

Her values and high expectations were evident in everything she did. She challenged her students and colleagues to reach their full potential and supported her colleagues with wisdom and kindness. Her legacy is one of compassion, dedication, and an unyielding belief in the power of education to change lives.
Lesley will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace Lesley, your legacy of love, laughter, and learning will never be forgotten.
